Aims, contents and method of the course
Sprachübergreifende Übung mit wissenschaftlicher Einführung in die Translation von Medien und Film.
Assessment and permitted materials
Mündliche Präsentation, Diskussionsbeiträge, Abschlussprojekt.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die erworbenen theoretischen Kenntnisse werden in praktischen Übungen angewandt, um einen übersetzungskritischen Zugang zum Fach zu entwickeln.
Examination topics
Theoretische Grundlagen zum Wissenschaftsfachbereich des Medien und Filmübersetzens und zur intralingualen Untertitelung.
Präsentation von Untertitelungssoftware und Anleitung zur Durchführung intralingualer Untertitelung.
Die Übung soll auch mittels Vorträgen von UntertitlerInnen und Exkursionen Einblicke in die professionelle Tätigkeit im Bereich der Medientranslation bieten.
