… can critically reflect and comment on their own experiences and movements
… can use pre-existing knowledge (e.g. given principles in improvisation), develop it further and combine it with theoretical core aspects of sports sciences
… can analyse music and use their findings as a foundation for the creation of new choreographies according to general composition rules
… are endowed with deep knowledge of effective use of hand apparatuses and with the ability to efficiently and creatively imitate and adapt several dance styles according to their needsIn order to show the practical implementation of theoretical knowledge in PE class, students will be asked to create and present two group choreographies (different dance styles and variations) for different target groups (classes and performance levels).

Video recordings of the students’ performances and PPT presentations will provide visual aid to help students reflect on their work.
Individual performance levels will be applied to actual movement sequences in a methodological and conceptual manner
Working with music and arrangement the music "Intro, Verses, Refrain, Bridge"The practical relevance of various exercises and skills as well as discussions about several challenges one may be faced with in PE class (e.g. small gym, incomplete equipment and kits, different performance levels, etc.) will further complement the course and will be discussed in the context of didactic concepts.
