Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In the colloquium we review and discuss the current state of your dissertations. The seminar does not take place on a weekly basis. Depending on the number of participants the frequency of the meetings may vary. The final schedule will be appointed jointly at the beginning of the semester. The course is aimed at generating a concept of the thesis, respectively at the advancement of your research and paper. The colloquium ends with a final meeting, where all results and progress will be discussed and commented on in detail.
English-speaking students are more than welcome to attend the colloquium.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular attendance and writing texts in connection to your dissertation. Final presentation and submission of a complete chapter or concept.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Critical reflection and handling of one’s own texts. Supervision of doctoral theses.

methods:
Continuous writing, as well as reading and reviewing of one another’s texts and concepts of the dissertation.
