Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is primarily aimed at doctoral students who are working on a dissertation in the field of applied linguistics. In the course, the current status of their theses, theoretical, methodological and empirical questions as well as the realization and progress of the theses in general will be discussed in a problem-oriented manner. Solutions to current problems will be worked out together.
Assessment and permitted materials
We assess oral performance within the course (in the form of an oral presentation or text moderation as well as in the form of oral participation in discussions).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The participants present the status of their ongoing projects orally in a session, or they present an excerpt from their work, the joint discussion of which they moderate. Furthermore, regular attendance and participation in the discussion of other qualification projects is expected.
Examination topics
No examination will take place.
Reading list
Literature will be proposed individually.
