Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course aims at giving an overview of research undertaken by graduate students at the Faculty of Physics as well as offering a place to connect with students from other groups and refining your presentation skills. After an introduction on presentation skills in the first unit, students will give weekly talks on challenges they are facing in their field and how to overcome them. Individual feedback will be given for each presentation. Further sessions are dedicated to introduce your research at poster presentations. This course is open to students from all areas of physics (theoretical, computational or experimental) and to both PhD and MSc students. PhD students are expected to present their own project while MSc students’ talks should provide an introduction (scientific background) to the following PhD students’ talk. The language of communication is English.
