Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Basics of advanced optical spectroscopy. Basic introduction of Raman infrared and photoluminescence spectroscopy, spacial and time resolved spectroscopy, nonlinear optics. Spectrometers including light sources and detectorsystems. Physical properties related to the dielectric response function, linear response theory, Kramers-Heisenberg model dielectric function, grouptheoretical analysis of vibrational modes, and examples of applications.
While physical teaching is suspended, slides will be provided at moodle
