Aims, contents and method of the course

In der postmigrantischen Literatur werden Erfahrungen der Migration und Zugehörigkeit literarisch zum Ausdruck gebracht und zugleich ein Kampf um Gleichheit und Teilhabe geführt. Der Begriff „postmigrantisch“ steht für das Bestreben, „mit dem hegemonialen Sprechen über Migration zu brechen“ (Foroutan 2018: 10), eine eigene postmigrantische Perspektive einzubringen und die gesellschaftliche Unterscheidung von Migrant:in und Nicht-Migrant:in letztlich aufzulösen.

Im Seminar befassen wir uns mit folgenden dieser Problemstellung zugeordneten Fragen: Wie schreibt sich postmigrantische Erfahrungswelt in Text und Körper ein? Welche Thesen der postkolonialen Kritik bilden die Basis eines postmigrantischen Zugangs in der Literatur? Wie geht postmigrantische Literatur in nationale Literaturgeschichtsschreibung ein? Und welche Wechselwirkungen bestehen zwischen einer „Literatur der Migration“ und dem Literaturbetrieb bzw. Buchmarkt?
