Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die LV vermittelt Grundinformationen über das politische Leben in der Slowakei. Behandelte Themen: Entstehung der selbstständigen Slowakischen Republik, ihre Staatsform und Regierungssystem, chronologischer Überblick der einzelnen Regierungen und ihrer Hauptvertreter, wichtige politische Ereignisse, Tendenzen in der politischen Entwicklung.
Für eine bessere Darstellung der Lektüre wird auch eine Exkursion (Termin wird in der LV besprochen) nach Bratislava angeboten (Nationalrat der Slowakischen Republik) und es wird auch eine Filmvorführung stattfinden. Exkursion und Filmvorführung sind von der COVID-19 Entwicklung und den aktuellen Bestimmungen abhängig.

Assessment and permitted materials

Präsentation (Referat) zum ausgewählten Thema. Essay zum ausgewählten Thema (im Jänner 2022 abzugeben). Regelmäßige Anwesenheit sowie aktive Mitarbeit werden ebenfalls berücksichtigt.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die LV soll den Studierenden einen Einblick in die politische Situation in der Slowakei nach 1993 vermitteln. Sie sollen Grundkenntnisse über slowakische Regierungen, Hauptvertreter und wichtige politische Ereignisse, die das Leben in der Slowakei beeinflussen, nachweisen.
