Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the course is the largely independent implementation of a Practitioner Research or Evaluation Project (in the broadest sense). There will be intensive contact to schools and classroom teaching practice as we work on a research-based way to solve (one's own) professional challenges in teaching (again in the broadest sense). The highest principle within the course is the orientation to the individual projects of the students. The units take place in particular as coaching units; these are enriched by content videos (e.g. on topics such as scientific work or qualitative / quantitative methods), virtual coaching, peer feedback / peer coaching loops and much more.Individuality is also expressed in the performance assessment, in which a dynamic/individual performance assessment is used (see ""Type of performance assessment"").
Assessment and permitted materials
Within the framework of the individual performance assessment, you can decide for yourself how to get your grade. In order to aid with planning, a binary/dichotome performance assessment is being applied. The quality of each assignment is assessed on a scale of 0% - 100%. However, this percentage is not applied directly to the points: Performance above 80% receives 100% of the points; performance below that 0% of the points. Attention: there are exceptions to this rule; these benefits are then converted 1:1 into points (e.g. 70% on a benefit that counts 10 points = 7 points).
