Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This is in part a research seminar, where we discuss recent important work in harmonic analysis and also present our own research. This is also a seminar for advanced students (master and Ph.D.) to get an overview of current questions in the field. Newcomers should have sufficient knowledge of Fourier analysis, frame theory, and time-frequency analysis. The seminar is associated to the Vienna School of Mathematics (VSM).

The seminar will be organized jointly with Irina Shafkulovska.

Assessment and permitted materials

To obtain a grade, participants should attend the seminar regularly and give a presentation on a suitable topic in (applied) harmonic analysis.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Active participation and seminar presentation
