Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The "Finalizing your PhD" Retreat is specifically aimed at PhD candidates who are in the final phase of their doctorate (approximately one year before completing their PhD). However, PhD candidates who are about to graduate or are already thinking about graduation and their future are also welcome to attend.
The seminar retreat offers a focused and supportive environment in which you can make significant progress on your dissertation, receive feedback, and exchange ideas with peers facing similar challenges. The first day focuses on completion (motivation, challenges, timetable, formal procedure) and the second day on future planning (self-assessment, career prospects, career statistics). It is a great opportunity to exchange ideas with peers, gain valuable insights, develop practical strategies, and receive expert guidance to successfully complete your dissertation and plan your professional future with confidence. The retreat is designed to give you a boost of motivation for the final sprint to graduation.
