Aims, contents and method of the course
This interdisciplinary seminar is held for those who begin with their doctoral studies. Here we are going to discuss the connection between theology and biography concretely our identity as believers and theologians and the effect on our theological research. The interdisciplinary character of this seminar shows also the interconnectedness of different theological disciplines and methods.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation and reflection papers that develop the connections between personal motivation and the dissertation project and at the same time analyzing how this project is linked to different theological disciplines.
The use of AI is permitted exclusively for the linguistic revision of independently written seminar papers. In certain cases, the course instructors reservesthe right to conduct an oral examination to assess the originality of the student's work.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Clarification of the own dissertation-project and localizing it into theology as a whole; recognition of the biographical dimension in it and clarification of the personal motivation, by which the project will be pushed forward more effectively.

Discussed topics and literature according to one's own Dissertation project
