Assessment and permitted materials

Written online exam, exam paper will be available via Moodle Platform on the exam day.

Deadline: 72 hours

Open-books exam; you may use any books or given material, but you have to comply with the standard rules of good scientific practice, direct quotes have to be marked as such; there will be a standard plagiarism check (Turnitin ).

The exam has to be written by every student in person without the help of other persons.

Written exam (8 multiple choice questions + one text question); there are four possible dates for taking the exam.
During the exam no material is admitted except a (non-digital) dictionary for students with non-native German.
The language of the exam is German, but the text question amy also be answered in English, French, Italian or Spanish.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Requirements
StEOP "Linguistics"; no other requirements.

Exam
Maximal points 42 (36 points in the multiple choice part and 6 in the text part).
42-38 excellent, 37-33 good, 32-25 satisfactory, 24-16 sufficient, 15-0 insufficient.
