Examination topics
Please note that taking this test is optional. It is meant to be an opportunity for students to obtain the B2-confirmation needed to register for Business English I.OOPT stands for Oxford Online Placement Test. It is a standardized test that tests your level of English. The online test is divided up into two sections: Use of English and Listening. The Use of English section assesses students' knowledge of grammatical form and vocabulary. The Listening section assesses students’ general listening ability. Both sections test how well students understand the meaning of what is being communicated.
Assessment and permitted materials
The exam will be held in a PC lab at the faculty. Exact details confirming the time and location of your exam will be sent to you via email shortly after the end of the registration period.Please note that the use of dictionaries or any other referencing material is not permitted.allocated time: 75 minutes (you MUST finish the exam within the allocated time or you will not be able to receive an overall result).Please note that The Oxford Placement Test is an adaptive test, which means that the test adjusts the difficulty of questions based on the student’s responses.
