Information
Examination topics
The lectured material in its entirety will be included. The oral examination will focus on assessing the students' understanding of the physical principles and phenomena behind both microscopy and spectroscopy. Instead of derivations of complex formulas, more important is to understand and explain what is being described, and how this can be used for studying the properties of materials.
Assessment and permitted materials
The course will be assessed by an oral examination with individual time slots in July, to be allotted later. Additional day can be arranged for September, if needed. No materials will be permitted at the examination, and a calculator will not be needed.
