Examination topics

Exam material is the lecture material of the respective units as well as the material on Moodle.

Assessment and permitted materials

Instead of the normal lecture-class exams students are asked to write an essay of ca. 2000 words. Your essay should be uploaded before the following deadlines to the moodle platform of this lecture class: 15.7.2020; 15.10.2020; 15.12.2020; 30.1. 2021.

In your essay, you should discuss how cultural, legal, and physical persecution of Jews are related in an epoch of your choice in the persecution history of Judaism. Furthermore, you should ask what we can learn from your analysis for combating antisemitism.
