060028 VO A History of the Diaspora from its Beginnings until the Arab Conquest (2020S)

Because long-distance learning and the closed or only partly opened library make it impossible to prepare adequately for a normal exam, in this term students will have to write instead of a final term exam a brief essay of 2000 words. Please discuss critically one or two chapters of at least 20 pages from John Barclay's book Jews in the Mediterranean Diaspora. You should pay particular attention to the question if the book includes enmity towards Jews. Submission deadlines are July 15th 2020, October 15th 2020, December 15th 2020, and January 30th 2021.
