Examination topics
In order to prepare for the exam at the end of the lecture, students must both read the required texts and follow the lectures (material will be shared on Moodle).Practice questions (posted on Moodle) for the individual sessions allow students to prepare for the exam during the semester. Weekly preparation in study groups is recommended.
Assessment and permitted materials
Regular attendance is expected.An in-person multiple choice exam – whose 20 questions relate to both the lectures and the required reading – concludes the lecture at the end of the semester (23.06.). Additional exam dates are offered at the beginning, middle, and end of the following semester.Written notes and electronic aids (laptops, mobile phones) are not permitted during the exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The result of the multiple-choice examination is decisive for the students’ final grade. The following scale is used for grading:87 - 100 points = very good
75 - 86.99 points = good
63 - 74.99 points = satisfactory
50 - 62.99 points = sufficient
49.99 - 0 points = unsatisfactory
75 - 86.99 points = good
63 - 74.99 points = satisfactory
50 - 62.99 points = sufficient
49.99 - 0 points = unsatisfactory
