Examination topics

The lecture wil be in German. At the beginning of every seminar unit a student will present a short summary of the last seminar unit (10 Minutes). On moodle you will find all relevant information and literature. (Tutor: Eckardt Lindner <Eckardt.Lindner@univie.ac.at>)

Assessment and permitted materials

Written examination. (Presenting a protocol in an oral and written form (10 Minutes oral, 7 pages written) is a possiblity for about 13 students. All others will be examined in written examinations)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

1. Introduction into the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche
2. Analyzing the significance of the conceptual personae of the artist-philosopher (Künstlerphilosoph) in Nietzsche's work.
3. Discussing the problematic relation of art and philosophy in the history of continental philosophy
4. Presenting the latest research on this field
