E. Doctoral Programme Physics
For the Doctoral Programme in the Natural Sciences (Physics, Code 091411) the following rules apply: courses with at least 12 semester hours must be passed successfully, with at most 4 semester hours taught by the thesis advisor (at most 6 semester hours if the advisor is joint lecturer), at most 6 semester hours of physics laboratory and at most 6 semester hours of seminars. The courses should be related to the scientific discipline of the thesis and will be arranged jointly by the student, the advisor and by the Dean of Studies. After passing, the courses must be listed in the student's score sheet to be signed by the Dean of Studies. Recognition requires concrete contents of the courses taken (rather than general titles like Seminar for Doctoral Students, etc.).In this context, see also the courses in the Third Stage of the Diploma Physics Programme.
