Mit WS 2007/08 traten neue Studienpläne für das Bachelorstudium und das Masterstudium Soziologie in Kraft. Studierende, die ihr Studium bereits begonnen haben, können dieses selbstverständlich weiter führen und im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Übergangsfristen beenden. Das Bachelorstudium Soziologie dient dem Erwerb einer allgemeinen Berufsbefähigung auf Basis einer grundlegenden wissenschaftlichen Ausbildung. Das Studium dauert 6 Semester und umfasst 180 ECTS-Punkte.

Das Masterstudium Soziologie vermittelt vertiefende, an die wissenschaftliche Forschung heranführende Kenntnisse. Das Studium baut auf einem fachlichen bzw. fachnahen Bachelorstudium auf und umfasst vier Semester bzw. 120 ECTS.

Im Folgenden sind zunächst die Lehrveranstaltungen des neuen Bachelor- und Masterstudiums angeführt, im Anschluss finden sich die Lehrangebote
des auslaufenden Bakkalaureatsstudiums (GEIKU) sowie des Diplomstudiums Soziologie (RESOWI). Zahlreiche Lehrveranstaltungen können sowohl für neue wie für alte Studienprogramme angerechnet werden. Details dazu finden sich auf der Institutswebsite.

Bei der Bezeichnung Seminarraum 1, 2 und 3 handelt es sich um die Seminarräume am Institut für Soziologie, Rooseveltplatz 2, 1. Stock. HS bezeichnet die allgemeinen Hörsäle der Universität im Universitäts-Hauptgebäude oder NIG.
