Aims, contents and method of the course

Details and lecture materials for the course can be found in the teaching platform. Please register via https://elearning.univie.ac.at/. If you have any questions, please first use the forum in the teaching platform and second you can use: ase [AT] swa.univie.ac.at.

The topics of the lecture are domain-driven design, model-driven software development, domain specific languages, scripting, and dynamic languages.

Knowledge in Java, OOP, OOD, modeling is recommended.
Attending the parallel offered lecture 050131 Advanced Software Engineering is highly recommended, because there the theoretical basics are presented on which the structure of the course is based.

Assessment and permitted materials

Practical assignments and interviews with the following grading scheme:

>= 87,50%: 1 (sehr gut);
>= 75,00%: 2 (gut);
>= 62,50%: 3 (befriedigend);
>= 50,00 %: 4 (ausreichend);
< 50,00%: 5 (nicht bestanden).
