Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is the tutorial to the lecture 'Numerische Mathematik' (numerical mathematics). In addition to the topics presented there, we will treat the implementation of simple algorithms in Matlab.
Assessment and permitted materials
The final grade is composed of the percentage of exercises prepared by the student (50% as a necessary requirement for passing the course), the quality of the presentations, and the active participation at the course.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Practical application of the methods introduced in the lecture and implementation of the algorithms in Matlab.
Examination topics
Exercises are prepared by the students and then presented during the course.
