Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this course harmonic analysis is understood as the theory and applications of Fourier series and the Fourier transform. This is an interesting subject in itself, but it arises in many parts of mathematics (PDE, signal and image processing, number theory, probability, data analysis, etc.) This course will develop Fourier series and integrals systematically . To understand the power of harmonic analysis, we will treat interesting applications, such as isoperimetric inequality, counting lattice points, density of sphere packings, PDE)Prerequisits: analysis, basic functional analysis, Lebesgue measure (definition and convergence theorems)

Oral or written exam (the exam mode will depend on the number of participants)

Knowledge of the basic concepts and theorems, understanding of the main proofs, and applications
