Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this lecture, theoretical concepts of human geography are addressed by implementing concrete research projects. Students will be guided to develop their own empirical work on current geographical research questions (development of research design and methodology, implementation, presentation of results) in small groups.
The general topic of the course (greening and public space in different spatial and socio-economic contexts) is conceptualized, operationalized and implemented together with the students using different empirical methods (mental maps, online surveys, observations, analysis of secondary data).
The final presentation of results will take place in an interactive workshop format.
