Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture provides an overview of optical and electron spectroscopy for studying nanomaterials. It offers an introduction to nanomaterials and covers the basic physics of spectroscopy techniques. It also covers examples of spectroscopic research from materials characterization to studies of physical properties of nanomaterials.
Assessment and permitted materials
Interim assessment: a presentation during the course on one of the research papers to be provided.
The oral final examination is scheduled for you individually at the end of the semester.
