Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture course provides an introduction to the basics of mathematical reasoning. We will talk about the mathematical language and its quirks.
Furthermore, we will investigate the necessity for proofs and their structure. In addition, the lecture course introduces foundations of
mathematics like logic, algebra, combinatorics (basics only), and number systems.
