The University of Vienna is looking for students interested in participating in the Vis Moot Court 2019/2020. The Moot court starts in the beginning of October and lasts until the Easter week of 2020.

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Participation in the „Willem C. Vis Commercial Arbitration Moot Court“ as part of the team of the University of Vienna. The participation fosters the study of international commercial law and the CISG through its application to a fictitious case. In the course of the Moot Court, participants are required to write two memoranda and prepare the pleading for the finale, taking place in Vienna the week before Easter.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Joint research and writing of the memoranda (to be handed in in December and January respectively); preparation of the oral pleadings.Course validation:
Participation in both the written and oral phase of the Moot Court will be weighted equally.

Prüfungsstoff
Individual coaching in the written and oral phase; participation in various Pre-Moots.
