The course aims at training students to solve practical cases in EU competition law. During the course, selected judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) and decisions of the EU Commission in the core areas of EU competition law (i.e. Art. 101 and 102 TFEU and Reg. 139/2004) will be analyzed. In addition, hypothetical cases of application of EU competition law (i.e. mock cases) will be discussed in each class, in order to train students to apply EU competition rules to concrete cases.
The course is introductory, and thus it does not require a previous knowledge of EU competition law.- Mittwoch 08.10. 09:45 - 11:15 Seminarraum SEM51 Schottenbastei 10-16, Juridicum 5.OG
