Students who take this course for credit will be assessed on the basis of• their participation in the classand• a presentation in English during which students introduce and discuss a topic which will be announced soon. Presentations should be between 15 and 20 minutes longor• a final written exam

The course will be hold in English (!) from the 2nd to 12th of December 2019. Regular attendance is mandatory.

Starting from an overview on the current framework, in which a crisis of effectivity affects fundamental, social and human rights, the teaching will propose a long-term path in the legal thought of the modern and contemporary age.
