Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Students have to
- write a seminar paper (50.000 characters text including footnotes and blanks, in case of PhD students a shorter paper will be accepted) on a specific topic (makes 50% of the final grade),
- present their paper in an oral speech (max. 15 minutes) and take part in the discussions (50% of the final grade).The mid-term meeting on 30 March shall give the students the possibility to discuss their preliminary research results with the professors. Apart from that, a tutor will be assigned to every student for guidance.The seminar papers have to be handed in until 9 June 2022 via upload on Moodle.Participation in the preliminary meeting, mid-term meeting and final session is obligatory.Erasmus students may obtain altogether 8 ECTS when handing in a seminar paper of 50.000 characters text (including footnotes and blanks) and presenting their paper in class.

For one of the seminar days (15 or 17 June) a visit to the UN Vienna and UNODC will be organised, if the current Covid-measures allow.Topics for the seminar: Students will be provided with a list of possible topics via E-Mail already before the preliminary meeting (as soon as the registration deadline is over). Your own suggestions are very welcome as well.
