Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Students learn to communicate the contents of their MA to a broad audience, provide constructive feedback on other people's work, and obtain input to make progress with their research.
Students taking this course should already have an MA thesis topic and a supervisor by the beginning of the semester. (Proof thereof must be provided in terms of a dissertation agreement signed by the supervisor by May 2nd.)

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
In order to pass this course students need to explain the material developed in their MA theses to a broad audience and give valuable feedback on the presentations of others.
Two presentations (each 1/3 of the final grade) on their own work and feedback on presentations of others (1/3 of the grade). After each presentation the presenter will receive an evaluation of their performance.Participants are also encouraged to give feedback to the presenter outside of the class.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Students must obtain a grade of at least 50% to pass the course.Attendance is mandatory. Unexcused absence in the first meeting results in the student being de-registered from the course. Missing more than two 90-minute units result in a negative grade.
Prüfungsstoff
This is a seminar. Hence no exams.
