Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Based on a small simulation project, the students will have the opportunity
to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills gained from the course
Simulation I. The projects will be handled by groups of at most two
people. The final implementation in the AnyLogic simulation environment
is to be presented in class and summarized in a short seminar paper.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

The final grade is composed of
- an intermediate presentation of the group work (30%)
- a final presentation of the project (35%)
- a term paper containing a project summary and results discussion (35%)

At least 50% have to be obtained for a positive grade. The grading key is as follows:
4: 50% to <63%
3: 63% to <75%
2: 75% to <87%
1: 87% to 100%

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

At least 50% of the overall total achievable score have to be obtained for a positive grade. The assessment is based on the students' ability to implement a small simulation project in AnyLogic, including all necessary preparatory (input data analysis) and consecutive (results interpretation and derivation of managerial implications) steps.

Prüfungsstoff

After a short intro including advanced topics in simulation (e.g., output data analysis), students will work on their assigned projects in groups of at most two.
