The evaluation consists of following components: weekly quizzes, problem sets, mid-term, final.Problem Set 3 and 9 will be graded. There will be an online quiz for each Lecture (except the first) on Moodle to be completed shortly after the lecture.Exam dates (subject to change due to COVID restrictions):
- Midterm (online): Monday, April 26, 18.30 – 20.00
- Final (planned in class): Monday, June 21, 18.30 – 20.00

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The evaluation consists of four components:35% midterm exam
35% final exam
10% problem sets
20% online quizzesThe minimal requirement for a passing grade is to achieve 50% in total.
Problem Set 3 and 9 will be graded. There will be an online quiz for each Lecture (except the first) on Moodle to be completed shortly after the lecture.

The course consists of five main building blocks:1. Macroeconomic Accounts
2. Economic Growth
3. Business Cycles
4. Financial Sector (if time permits)
5. Open Economy and Exchange Rates (if time permits)The lecture comprises 4 hours per week covering mainly theory and examples. There will be an additional tutorial, where practical exercises are discussed.
