The first session is on Friday, November 4, 2016. The lecture is held in English. The sessions start at 09:45 s.t. and are semi-blocked (i.e., each is 90 minutes long).
The first examination date will be from 16:45 - 18:15 on January 27, 2017 in lecture room 1 OMP. The second examination date will be from 11:30 - 13:00 on March 2, 2017 in lecture room 1 OMP. Further examination dates will be announced at a later point in time.

Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This course is meant mainly as a repetition of the main concepts presented in the bachelor program. The contents cover methods (e.g., linear programming models, sensitivity analysis, shadow prices), demand forecasting, inventory management under stochasticity (e.g., newsvendor, ABC, service levels), push & pull systems (e.g., Wagner-Whitin, Silver-Meal), scheduling (e.g., priority rules, Johnson's method) and queueing problems.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
The grading will be based on a single written exam. A total of 100% can be obtained in this exam.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
At least 50% have to be obtained for a positive grade. The other grades are distributed as follows:
4: 50% to <63%
3: 63% to <75%
2: 75% to <88%
1: 88% to 100%Cheating during an examination will be sanctioned according to the university's constitution in its current form (i.e., the entire course will not be graded but marked as cheated and counted as one attempt). Signing for another student will be counted as cheating as well.Students who want to take part in an exam are required to bring their student ID. Otherwise, they will be asked to go to the secretary's office to make a copy of the alternative ID (driver's licence, passport, etc.). Non-official IDs (bank cards, Vorteilscards, etc.) will NOT be accepted without any exceptions. This procedure will not extend the duration of the examination.The students' IDs will be checked only after handing out the examination sheets. Students who are not on the list or don't have a valid identification card will not be allowed to participate in the examination even if they were already handed an examination sheet.

Prüfungsstoff
The exam will cover the material (slides) provided on the slides that will be made available via the e-learning platform Moodle.
