The first lectures (on October 3) will serve as introduction to the course and explanation of course requirements.From the second week onward there will be weekly problem sets uploaded on Moodle. They will consist of small questions, analytical derivations and/or data tasks in R. Students have to mark the problems they have been working on and might be asked to present their solutions. If a student is asked to present their solution to an exercise and it is evident that insufficient effort has been put into the solution, the student will receive 0 points for the entire corresponding problem set.

Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Application and practice of the contents of the parallel lecture (040111 KU Introductory Econometrics) through independent preparation of solutions for weekly problem sets. Presentation and discussion of the proposed solutions.The course will be held on-site (if the Covid situation permits).
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The course assessment is solely based on the exercises marked on Moodle, whereby (as outlined above) marked exercises may not count towards the final grade if a student’s presentation indicates that little effort was put into solving the corresponding week’s problem set.A maximum of 100 points can be obtained during the course. The final grade is calculated as follows depending on obtained points P:Sehr Gut (1) P ≥ 87.5,
Gut (2) 75 ≤ P < 87.5,
Befriedigend (3) 62.5 ≤ P < 75,
Genügend (4) 50 ≤ Z < 62.5,
Nicht Genügend (5) P < 50.
Gut (2) 75 ≤ P < 87.5,
Befriedigend (3) 62.5 ≤ P < 75,
Genügend (4) 50 ≤ Z < 62.5,

The problem sets uploaded on Moodle which are based on the contents of the parallel lecture (040111 KU Introductory Econometrics).
