In order to pass the course, participants must reach an overall percentage score (PS) of more than 60% and meet the attendance/participation requirements.

According to university regulation, this course is "prüfungsimmanent", which means that in principle students must attend every class (for information on how this applies when the course is taught in a digital format, please see below). Exceptionally, they may miss a maximum of two sessions.
Failure to attend the first session without prior notification will result in losing the place in the course (this means that if you do not submit the assignment for the first lesson by the deadline, you will be deregistered from the course).
This course will be taught in a digital format through Moodle. This means your physical presence is not required (except for the final exam), but you are expected to actively participate online by completing weekly sessions through Moodle. Completing these weekly sessions is mandatory and if you fail to actively participate in all of the tasks set (post to forums, complete quizzes...) for more than two sessions, this will result in a fail.
Sessions will be posted weekly on Moodle (you will receive a notification through Moodle whenever a new session goes online.) These tasks will only be available for a limited time period (usually one week). Please note that late submissions will not be accepted. Failure to actively participate in the course online (that means if you make no submissions for all mandatory tasks for more than two sessions) will result in a fail.
All communication will be done through Moodle, so it is your responsibility to check your messages regularly.
