Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Business English I is assessed by means of a written final test.
In order to pass the course, participants must reach an overall percentage score (PS) of more than 60%.

Prüfungsstoff

This course uses the following methods: lectures, small-group work, discussions, vocabulary development and reinforcement of grammatical structures, role plays and case studies.

Information

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

1) read and understand English texts on a B2 level of the Common European Framework
2) understand and apply business English vocabulary and terminology from different fields such as management, company structure, products, production, logistics, marketing and advertising
3) participate in discussions on those fields
4) translate business English vocabulary and terminology into German
5) produce communicatively effective business texts (emails, covering letters, CVs)
