Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course aims to have students learn to communicate the contents of their MA to a broad audience, provide constructive feedback on other people's work, and gain useful input to make progress with their research.

Students taking this course should already have an MA thesis topic and a supervisor by the beginning of the semester.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

In order to pass this course students need to explain the material developed in their MA theses to a broad audience and to give valuable feedback on the presentations of others.

The course's grade evaluates own performance in the two presentations (each 1/3 of the final grade) and feedback on presentations of others (1/3 of the grade). After each presentation the presenter will receive an evaluation of his or her performance.
