Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course aims to promote students’ analytical thinking and active learning about business research methods. The course allows students to design and develop their research projects from inception to completion by synthesizing rigorous coverage of methodologies. Specifically, the course is designed in two parts. Parts one concerns an introduction to understanding research methods, and part two represents various methods in analyzing quantitative data (e.g., descriptive statistics, regression analysis, analysis of means, etc.) using statistical packages such as SPSS and LISREL.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

• 40% writing proposal assignment
• 60% data analysis assignment

The course is held in English. The minimum requirement for an overall pass grade is 50%. You need to obtain at least half of the points for each of the term assignments.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Basic knowledge of Statistics is required.
