Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist die kritische Beschäftigung mit Theorien und Modellen der Marketing-Kommunikation, die als Aktivität auf der Unternehmensebene beschrieben wird. Praxisbeispiele und Themenschwerpunkte wissenschaftlicher Publikationen ergänzen die theoretischen Ausführungen.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Folgende Teilleistungen ergeben die Endnote:
• Test 1 zur Semestermitte 30 Punkte
• Test 2 zum Semesterende 30 Punkte
• Projektarbeit 10 Punkte
• Test 1 zur Semestermitte 30 Punkte
• Test 2 zum Semesterende 30 Punkte
• Projektarbeit 10 Punkte
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Für eine positive Absolvierung des Kurses sind insgesamt mindestens 35 Punkte notwendig. Möglichkeiten zur Wiederholung versäumter oder mangelhaft absolvierter Teilleistungen können nicht angeboten werden.Es besteht Anwesenheitspflicht (das Fehlen an zwei Terminen ist ohne Entschuldigung möglich; ein drittes Mal Fehlen ist nur bei Vorliegen eines wichtigen Grundes mit Bestätigung erlaubt).Der positive Notenbereich wird zu gleichen Anteilen aufgeteilt.
Prüfungsstoff
Da nicht alle Inhalte im Rahmen des Vortrags abgedeckt werden, ist das begleitende Studium der angegebenen Literatur erforderlich. Die Projektarbeit erfolgt innerhalb einer Projektgruppe. Der Kurs verwendet Turnitin zur Plagiatsprüfung.

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
The course seeks to critically study key concepts and theories associated with marketing communications. Also, it aims to present the variety of ways in which organizations use marketing communications, as well as the reasons behind marketing communications activities. Practical examples and main topics of scientific publications complement the theoretical background.

Final Exam (45%)The Midterm Exam will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions. The multiple-choice questions will be scored as follows: correct answer = 1, no/wrong answer = 0.The final exam will contain 10 multiple-choice questions and two essay-type questions, all of which need to be answered. Both the midterm exam and the final exam will be based on the textbooks, additional readings, and material covered in the various sessions.

Attendance is compulsory throughout the semester; more than three absences will automatically result in a “Failed” grade.The assessment of the overall performance of the participants is determined as follows:
