Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

After sales services have increased considerable attention in supply chain management and logistics over the last decade. In many industries, after sales services show larger profit margins than original parts sales. However, the design and operation of after sales services poses special challenges as they are typically subject to higher uncertainty, dynamics, and complexity. Recent advances and typical strategic and operational problems in spare parts management will be covered as the topic of this seminar.
