Evaluation methods will be determined at the first course. They will depend on the background of the students, the size of the group, and will be discussed together.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
At the end of this course, students will know what are metaheuristics, why they are needed, how to design them, and how to evaluate their quality.

Following this course will allow students to learn basic concepts relevant for metaheuristics.
An introduction on metaheuristics for Production Management, Transportation Logistics and Supply Chain Management will be provided.
