Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Überblick über die Geschichte der drei Teilregionen Osteuropas (Ostslawischer Raum, Ostmittel- und Südosteuropa) von der Antike bis zur Gegenwart.
Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte u.a.:
- Definitionen und Raumbilder der drei Teilregionen
- Herrschaftsgebilde, Herrschaftssysteme, historische (Sub-)Regionen, Staaten und Imperien
- Gesellschaftsstrukturen im Wandel
- Wirtschaftsräume
- Schriften, Sprachen, Kultur, Wissenschaft, Religion(en)
- Städtische und ländliche Kultur
