Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Die Vorlesung stellt den umfassenden sozioökonomischen und kulturellen Wandel Südosteuropas im sogenannten "langen" 19. Jahrhundert dar. Die Herausbildung ethnonationaler Identitäten und neuer Nationalstaaten sowie die Modernisierungsprobleme agrarischer Gesellschaften stehen im Vordergrund der Darstellung.
