Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This reading course is coordinated with the lecture class Historical and Cultural European Studies, and covers the time period from Late Antiquity to Contemporary History. Through selected articles and sources, we will address how Europe was perceived through political, spacial, and cultural lenses.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

The partial exams consist in four individual contributions to the class, which can take various forms (oral presentation, poster presentation, essay, book review, ...).

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Regular, active participation.
All four partial exams must be succesfully completed.

Prüfungsstoff

The topics of partial exams will be assigned individually, according to the students' preferences.
