Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Die Vorlesung führt in Grundprobleme der Geschichte Osteuropas ein. Es werden behandelt: Imaginierter, geographischer und historischer Raum; Historiographie; ethnische und religiöse Gruppen; Imperien in Mittelalter und Neuzeit; Juden; Nationalbewegungen/Nationalstaaten; Land- und Stadtbevölkerung; "Ostblock". Die Vorlesung ist Pflichtveranstaltung für das Modul Osteuropäische Geschichte.
