Master students can apply for this seminar directly in the office hours of Prof. Rosenberg on September 8, 3-5 PM (probably via Zoom only). Please make an appointment at the beginning of September with Michaela Golubits (michaela.golubits@univie.ac.at).
Depending on the development of the pandemic the seminar will be either entirely in presence or partly by zoom and partly in presence. Introductions to the eye tracker and data recording must be done in person, at the lab at the department of art history. Full vaccination against Covid 19 is therefore strongly recommended.- Donnerstag 07.10. 13:00 - 16:00 Seminarraum 1 d. Inst. f. Kunstgeschichte UniCampus Hof 9 3F-EG-07

The seminar aims to introduce students of art history to eye tracking, including how to plan, design, analyze and publish empirical studies. The seminar will focus on theoretical aspects of the method while the practical elements will be covered in the mandatory exercise course. All participants will conduct their own study with the eye tracker in groups of two. Practicing teamwork is, therefore, also one of the goals of the seminar.
