Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In dieser Vorlesung wird der Versuch unternommen, "Romantik" als generellen künstlerischen Modus zu verstehen und mit Hilfe dieses Begriffs das Kunstgeschehen in Europa vom Ausgang des 18. Jahrhunderts bis in die Gegenwart zu strukturieren. Zahlreiche Einzelwerke sollen in diesem Kontext analysiert und interpretiert werden.
