Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung, Lektüre in der Gruppe, Referat, schriftliche Arbeit.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Englisch und Deutsch werden vorausgesetzt, Griechisch von Vorteil. Anwesenheitspflicht, regelmäßige Vorbereitung und Diskussionsteilnahme, Lektüre, Kurztexte und Impulsreferate, Referat (30-45 Min.) 60%; schriftliche Arbeit am Ende des Semesters, etwa 6000 Wörter, 40%.

Ziel ist der Vergleich unterschiedlicher Stadtkonzepte durch das Studium z.B. von narrativen Quellen, Gesetzestexten und Bildern. Die LV bildet einen Teil des Schwerpunktes Stadt/Hauptstadt im Rahmen der Neogräzistik im WS 2018 (s. auch Diamantopoulou, Kousouris, Mantanika).
